My Craft Channel Airs!

I recently got the opportunity to film some "Craft Tips" segments with My Craft Channel!
Let me tell you...it was exhilarating and so scary at the same time!

My first segment aired today and it will be filled with ideas using clocks in your New Year's Eve decor and celebrations!  The more clocks the better!

New episodes will air weekly with tips on planting succulents in old pots, home decor tips, how to create a fairy garden and give your shelves a makeover.

My Craft Channel has all kinds of shows using all the newest products and ways to DIY using ideas we see all the time on Pinterest.  There are several guest hosts to provide a variety of knowledge and information and I always watch because it motivates me to try new things!

Any ideas you'd like to see?  I'd love to hear your feedback!

Thanksgiving Feast

November started out as an amazing month...I was so lucky to hang out with 14 amazing women who shared their lives with me...I can't wait to get together again soon!
Since that retreat I can't get my mind off of food...I'm always thinking about food but the food we eat at retreats is always exceptionally good!
Since Thanksgiving is tomorrow (oh my gosh it's already here), I'd like to share a recipe that comes from my sister-in-law's side of the family...I'm not a cranberry fan, never had been until I tried this...

One bag fresh cranberries
 1 1/2 cups fresh pineapple
 3/4 cup sugar
Purée in the food processor or blender
Add 1/4 cup pink grapefruit juice
Refrigerate 8 hours
Will remain good for two weeks in the fridge

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
May good food, family and friends find their way to your table!

Watch for the next retreat dates coming soon!

November Reclaim Yourself Retreat

I knew it was going to be a good weekend as I drove up to Heber and saw these beautiful clouds rising over the lake...

Decorating the house, getting the dinner table set gets me so excited for the guests to arrive...anticipating their reaction when they see Christmas!

I love pulling out my vintage decor!

Table settings made for each guest...

Sweet Nativity

Appetizers

O Christmas Tree

The guests arrive and dinner is served!

Aren't they all beautiful?   The women that come always amaze me.

These two.  I just love them.

Crafting begins!!
We began our "Putz" house project...3 paper mache villages, paint first, then glaze with Modge Podge and sprinkle glitter on the sides, snow on the rooftops...add embellishments and you are done!

No two houses were the same...each individual and unique!

Gift Wrap Station...check!

Even the cook, Krista from Budget Gourmet Mom got her craft on when she wasn't cooking sweet treats for us!

This girl and her talents blow my socks off every time...I love sitting next to her and watching her creative mind at work!  She inspires me!

This picture may or may not have been taken in the wee hours of the morning

I love a colorful mess!

Our Christmas Tree project by Doodlebug Designs...I spy one brown eye...
We made our own glitter balls, ornaments and garland using Doodlebug Design products...the results were adorable!

So excited we were able to use the brand new Hazel and Ruby Christmas Stencil Masks!
So glad we got to hang out with Jayme too!

Loved this Holiday Pillow Project by Lori Allred of My Craft Channel, they turned out so cute!

Protein Smoothies a must when hardcore crafting is going on

Besties...you two added so much to this retreat...love you both!

Delicious Dinner...the turkey, divine, the sausage stuffing, scrumptious, yams, mashed potatoes, rolls & green beans were all amazing...recipes coming soon!

Happy Campers
A beautiful site, we were happy all night, walking in our winter wonderland

All the fun details that make a house a home were on display

The best breakfast ever!  Made by Crystal Beutler, recipe at www.iamcrystal.org
